Mental Health Services for Children & Families
Akeela’s Juneau program offers special programming and services for children with severe emotional disabilities. This program provides a wide range of clinical services to children, adolescents and their families, including individual, family, group and play therapy. Clinical care includes assessments, treatment planning/coordination, care coordination, skill development, child and adolescent psychiatry and in-school and wrap around services.

Therapeutic Foster Care
This program serves seriously emotionally disturbed children who have been removed from their family of origin by the State of Alaska Office of Children’s Services. We license (after state approval) foster families and homes, providing clinical supervision of the services provided to the children as the families work toward reunification.
