Provide direct administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. Under direction of the CEO, provide administrative support in areas including but not limited to, the Board of Directors, Administrative departments and daily operations.
Executive Assistant: Principle Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Preparation of all Board of Directors meetings, including notification, food ordering, meeting minutes, electronic media upload and paper material packets as required.
Take, produce and maintain other meeting minutes as directed.
Provide support to other Administrative departments, Finance, Human Resources and Compliance as directed by the CEO.
Coordinates travel arrangements for Administrative staff, with follow up to the Finance Dept.
Produce and disseminate Akeela company newsletter.
Assist coordinating employee appreciation and acknowledgment initiatives and company events.
Conduct monthly inspections as required by licensing and accreditation organizations.
Requisition office supplies as needed for Administration operations and special projects.
Maintain company contact lists, generate mailings as required for the CEO.
Coordinates Consumer Advisory Board meetings and activities.
Update Akeela’s social media accounts as directed.
Completes other duties as assigned in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Skills-Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and various social media platforms.
Thorough knowledge of standard office procedures, including business correspondence with correct grammar, punctuation and spelling;
Word processing with a proficiency of 40 words per minute
Demonstrates the ability to cooperatively and effectively work in a team setting.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate standard office equipment.
Ability to edit, proof and prepare final error-free copy and ability to prioritize workload.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Two years of post-secondary education and a minimum of two years progressively responsible office work experience, or a minimum of four years comparable work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or Personnel Administration preferred
Experience with Non-Profit and Behavioral Health Organizations is preferred.
