Position Summary:
Provide assistance in the routine maintenance and repairs on all Akeela Inc. facilities and vehicles.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
· Provide assistance in general maintenance to include, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, painting, flooring repair/replace, counter/cabinet repair and vehicle repair/ maintenance.
· Maintain accountability of agency tools and equipment.
· Conduct monthly physical plant inspections at transitional housing.
· Report any health and safety related issues, or issues of concern to your supervisor.
· Maintain confidentiality per Akeela policy.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills-Any Equivalent Combination Of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience:
· High School Graduate or Equivalent
· Experience in a social service setting preferred
· Experience and skilled in maintenance and repairs
· Able to multi task
· Able to work independently
· Good written and verbal communication
