Position Summary:

Manage the day to day business and delivery of clinical services to all residential clients. This position leads the conceptualization, development, and implementation of new programs within Substance Use Disorder Residential (KAR House) Programs for Gateway Center for Human Services while ensuring that all existing programs meet the appropriate and relevant professional and governmental regulations and standards.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

§ Ensure that all direct service staff maintain “best practice standards” through a process of quality assurance and appropriate supervision and guidance provided to them.

§ Ensure that the clinical staff demonstrates the appropriate levels of professional competency to comply with CARF standards.

§ Monitor and manage program budget.

§ Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical staff.

§ Serves as first point of QA/QI for the program (i.e.; completes file audits, sign off on health and safety review and drills, and reviews, responds, and forwards all critical incident reports.

§ Ensure that program has both the resources and the personnel necessary to support day to day operations.

§ Participate in the outreach and marketing activities of the organization by building positive relationships with ancillary programs, appropriate community and state agencies.

§ Participate in hiring / terminating employees, evaluations and reprimands.

§ Facilitate weekly Residential Treatment Team meetings.

§ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills-Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education & Experience:

* BA in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a closely related area, masters preferred.

§ Five years combined experience providing therapeutic services.

§ Four years experience supervising program staff.

§ Clinical license preferred.
