Alcohol Safety Action Program
ASAP is an education program operated by the Division of Behavioral Health that monitors the treatment and compliance for the Court and/or DMV. Akeela Inc. operates ASAP programs that cover the Kenai, Homer and Ketchikan area. Additionally, we cover some outlying areas of Alaska dependent on the client’s location.
ASAP takes cases once ordered by the Court as a term of a defendant’s probation requirements. We can also take cases before sentencing as self-referrals or cases that require ASAP’s sign-off for DMV purposes. Many of our clients rarely set foot in our office which has given our office staff the added benefit of having experience with working long distance to meet our clients’ needs.
